Tempera

Inspiring and talented teachers at The Folk Art School in Holbæk, Denmark, and The Gerlesborg School of Fine Art in Sweden made me interested in egg-tempera painting. And I never stopped being fascinated by the glow and light in this medium used since the early cultures.

The upper pictures on this page were painted with egg-tempera on copper printing paper, size 75×64 cm, in 1991.

The three pictures below were admitted to the censured exhibition at The Danish Artists Autumn Exhibition, KE 1988.

All other pictures on this page were painted with egg-tempera on copper printing paper, size 75×64 cm, in 1988.

In 1991 I was commissioned by the company Cowi to paint two pictures for their printing of that year’s season’s greeting cards. Painted with egg-tempera on copper printing paper, size 52×104 c,. Printed in 14,000 copies.
